I am 36 years old, grew up in Michigan but moved to Florida. I have always loved reading. Read tons of books while growing up! For a while I didn't read much. I had met Rob and we had started having children. But I got an awesome job with an even more awesome boss and had started grabbing books to read from a certain 24hr chain store but that wasn't enough, I needed more. So I got the Nook app on my BlackBerry. I used that until my husband got me a Kindle touch for my birthday in 2012! All was great, Rob and I had 5 children our youngest coming Dec. 2013, until August 4, 2014. That's the day Rob died. Never expected to be 33 years old, have 5 kids and have their father gone. I read alot and quiet quickly to ease the worry, anxiety and grief of this huge loss. It's a major change to not have him here after 15 years of being together. Since his death I have devoured hundreds, dare I say thousands of books! I spend lots of time with my kids too. I read to our boys at bedtime. Our girls like to read too. Reading is a great escape!!

  1. What’s your favorite genre to ready?

I'm a huge paranormal romance/urban fantasy fan! But really, I read pretty much everything.

 2. What do you look for when determining how you will rate the book in your review?

My reviews are written short and to the point. Whether I loved the book or not, it's that simple!

3. Is there enough of a variety of genres in the books being offered to make our team worth being on, in your opinion?

The variety of genres offered is great, and totally worth being on the review team!!

4. Do you have any favorite/memorable parts in any of the books you’ve read? Please provide book title.

My favorite scene from recent books is in The Toren: Shattered Souls by Lola StVil. When they're in the hospital and Parker is recovering but still unconscious and she's just spouting off stuff. I busted out laughing when she yells out, "Yellow elephants don't like Jell-O!

5. What are a few of your favorite reads so far.

How can I even choose that?? They're all amazing in their own way!! Anything written by Lola StVil, Ednah Walters, or Raye Wagner are bound to be great reads!! Of course, there are many other great authors that I have had the privilege to read their book babies!!
